Brewers (24-19) 4 AT Phillies (24-16) 7 – Odubel Herrera and J.T. Realmuto had RBI doubles in the 7th to lead the Phils. Bryce Harper struggled at the plate but made a superb catch in right. Lorenzo Cain had 5 hits in the loss. The Phillies won their 3rd in a row and are 8-2 against teams over .500.

Astros (27-15) 8 AT Tigers (18-21) 1 – The Astros used 5 pitchers to hold the Tigers to 1 run on 5 hits. Alex Bregman hit another homer and now has 13 on the year. The Astros hit 4 homers as part of an 11-hit performance. They have won 6 in a row and 9 of their last 10.

Angels (20-21) 5 AT Twins (25-15) 4 – Shohei Ohtani hit his first homer of 2019 and Tommy La Stella hit his 10th. La Stella, Trout, and Pujols each had 3 hits for the Angels, who ended up with 15. Jorge Polanco and Marwin Gonzales hit 2-run homers for the Twins, but the Angels Bullpen threw 4 scoreless with 6 strikeouts to hold the win.

Indians (21-19) 2 AT White Sox (19-21) 5 – Yoan Moncada hit 2 homers off of Shane Bieber in the win. Reynaldo Lopez surrendered just 2 hits in 7.2 innings and only gave up an earned run. Jose Abreu and Wellington Castillo also went deep for Chicago who won their 3rd in a row. Francisco Lindor had both hits and RBI for Cleveland.

Pirates (20-18) 3 AT Diamondbacks (23-19) 9 – Robbie Ray became the 2nd fastest lefty ever to reach 800 strikeouts. Eduardo Escobar tripled and homered and finished with 3 hits and 3 RBI. The D-backs Bullpen struck out 8 over 4 innings of 1-run ball. The Pirates had 13 hits but were 4-17 with runners in scoring position and left 12 on.

Athletics (19-24) 5 AT Mariners (21-23) 6 F/10 – The A’s and Mariners traded homers throughout the day. Khris Davis hit 2 and Mitch Haniger and Danial Vogelbach hit their 10th of the year. Tied 4-4 the game went into extras where Ramon Laureano went deep to take the lead in the 10th. The Mariners responded with 2 runs to walk it off. Omar Narvaez had the winning hit.
